			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The 11th Congress of the Cimbalom World Association between 5-9<br />
October in 2011 in Budapest</p>
<p>According to its objective defined in its statutes the Cimbalom World Association<br />
organises a congress every two years, each time in a different country, the venue of which is<br />
decided by the members. Since the World Association celebrates its 20th jubilee in 2011 the<br />
members decided that the next congress should be held in the founding country, Hungary.<br />
The aims of the Congress are to hold a meeting of the members, to make decisions<br />
about the operation of the Association, to let the delegations from different countries<br />
introduce the cimbalom culture of their homeland, to share and gain knowledge and<br />
information and to popularize the instrument. The different concerts, presentations and<br />
vending exhibitions held by the members during the congress will be open to the general<br />
public.<br />
The main theme of the 11th Congress is to celebrate the first 20 years of work of the<br />
Association as well as to share the culture of the instrument.</p>

After the concert a reception is going to be held in the hotel.</p>
<p>On 9 October from 10.30 am: sightseeing tour and visiting Szentendre by bus.<br />
Participation fee: 30 EUR/Person. At least 30 people are needed for the program to be<br />
realized.</p>
<p>Participation fee for members and their relatives for the whole duration of the Congress:<br />
90 EUR/ 24300 HUF/Person,<br />
Participation fee for non-members for the whole duration of the Congress: 180 EUR/ 48600<br />
HUF/Person.<br />
Participation fee includes the costs of travelling between the accommodation and the location<br />
of the Congress, refreshment in the daytime (coffee, tea, water), the essential equipment<br />
needed for the presentations, a 4 m2 size space for exhibitors (if there is a need for extra space<br />
an additional fee must be paid), tickets for all the programs, the opportunity to take part in the<br />
common programs, and publications of the Congress.</p>
<p>Active participation at the concerts and presentations can be guaranteed only to members.<br />
Non-members of the Association can only attend the concerts and presentations as a visitor.<br />
Exhibitors can both be members and non-members. If there is a need for extra space an<br />
additional fee must be paid. This is 30 EUR/m2 for members and 60 EUR/m2 for non-<br />
members.</p>
<p>Deadline of registration: 20 May 2011. We can only accept registrations for passive<br />
participation after this day. Signed application forms must be sent by e-mail or by post. Please<br />
include a photo and a CV as well.</p>
<p>Before 30 June 2011 the participation fee and the additional fee for extra exhibition area<br />
should either be remitted to our bank account number or paid with PayPal available on our<br />
website. It also can be paid on the spot by prior arrangement. We regret to inform you that<br />
we cannot accept any cheques. We kindly ask you to give the method of payment on your<br />

Admission is free for children under 14.</p>
<p>If a participant cannot attend the congress we cannot grant a refund. However, participants<br />
unable to attend the Congress after having paid their registration fees can transfer the fee<br />
to someone. In this case the participant must provide a written request about the transfer.<br />
Members of the Association can transfer their fees paid only to another member while non-<br />
members can transmit it to anyone.</p>

Cat. A – Valentin Vilinciuc, PRELUDE nr.8, from V. Luta, “Caiet pentru tambal”, nr. III;<br />
Cat. B – Alexander Timofeev, “METAFORA”, from V. Luta, “Caiet pentru tambal”, nr. III.<br />
3. Piece by author with folklore theme or a folklore composition from candidates national patrimony.<br />
IInd STAGE<br />
1. Piece at will for dulcimer-solo.<br />
2. Concert piece.</p>
<p><strong>Note: Transcriptions are allowed.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Regalements</strong></p>
<p>1. The candidates within the framework categories of age by the date of the beginning of the competition can take part in it:<br />
A – till 16 age inclusive<br />
B – 17-22 age inclusive<br />
Superior category of age is also permitted to participate at the competition.<br />
The interpreters to whistle can take part only in A category, till 14 age.<br />
2. The competitors classified on the 1-3 places will get diplomas and prizes of money. The prizes will be awarded by the international jury made up of remarkable personalities, which will estimate both technical and artistic side of the candidates performance. The decision of the jury is definitive and incontestable.<br />
3. According to interpreting level of competitors, the jury candonot grand prizes or grand special prizes.<br />
4. The first stage is eliminatory.<br />
5. The pieces will be played from memory.<br />
6. The repertory must include pieces of different genre, style, character and doesn’t repeats.<br />
7. On demand, the organizers will make contacted available copies of the obligatory pieces (from the telephone or letter, beginning from March).<br />
8. The competitors must be accompanied by their own piano accompanist.<br />
9. The member of the jury must not have a pupil or a student participant of competition.<br />
10. Competitors and accompanists will be accommodated in the lyceum internat.</p>
<p><strong>Participation condition</strong></p>
<p>1. The entry fee is 30 EURO, “A” category, 35 EURO, B category. The payment will be done in Lei R.M.<br />
2. Competitors not living in Moldova are asked to pay their fee after arrival at the competition.<br />
3. The application form for the competition is confirmed by the conductor of the school, and will be made by May, 15th 2010 (post date) to the address:</p>

<p>4. The participants will send with the application form the following papers:<br />
- a copy (xerox) birth certificate;<br />
- a photo portrait white black 9×13;<br />
- the candidate’s country composers or piece from contemporary composer for IInd stage.<br />
5. All expenses for competition will be pay by competitor.<br />
6. The meals can be paid served at the canteen of the Lyceum beginning breakfast, 20st June and ending dinner, 25th of June<br />
7. The official opening of Competition and the drawing odds will be on 20st of June. The closing of Competition, the awarding and the Gala of laureates will be on 25th of June.<br />
