CWA Congress 2019 Update

We had this message from Li Lingling our vice president about the organisation of our next congress in China.

“This is to keep you up to date about the preparation work for the 15th Congress.  So far the project has been approved and the funding has been allocated. However, the venue for the event will probably be shifted to another city because this year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and a number of major events will be held in Beijing, which create problems in terms of booking of the hotel and other arrangements for holding the Congress at our conservatory.  We have been trying to find solutions but, after quite a few meetings in this regard, the conservatory considers that it is better to shift the venue to another city away from the crowded Beijing.  I will inform you as soon as the venue in another city is decided, hopefully, in the coming weeks. We are confident that the shifting of the venue will not in any way affect the success of the Congress.”

We expect the announced dates of 26-30th October 2019 for the Congress to be the same.
