The Summer CWA News has been sent out to members. You can read about the latest activities of our members and also find the latest information about the CWA congress this October in this issue.
The organisers of the Congress have given us this additional advice about planning your trip:
Hefei has an international airport which mainly serves the Far East. International travellers will probably find the best option is to fly into a major Chinese Airport like Beijing or Shanghai and then transfer to another plane to Hefei. If you arrive in Shanghai Hongqiao airport there is also an option for convenient transfer to the high-speed railway as the airport and rail station is in the same place. However if you arrive at Shanghai Pudong it is recommended to fly to Hefei from this airport because otherwise you have a 60m journey to get to the Shanghai Hongqiao train station. It’s a similar problem in Beijing.
The organisers will meet attendees in Hefei airport or Hefei railway station, so please make sure you send your travel plans with all flight numbers and times as soon as they are finalised.
Please note: The deadline for applications is August 24th 2019. Please don’t delay!
