Interpretation Competition in Valašské Meziříčí in May 2025

Here are the mandatory compositions for the interpretation competition, which will be held in Valašské Meziříčí in May 2025.

For all those interested in applying to the competition, when studying it is necessary to use the following versions of the competition pieces:

I. category – year of birth 2013 and younger – Jarmila Mazourová: 4 invence pro cimbál – Na houpačce, U potůčku

II. category – year of birth 2010 and younger – Bálint Sárosi: Szonatina cimbalomra – 2. a 1. movement (they are played in this order –  first the 2nd and then the 1st movement)

III. category – year of birth 2006 and younger – Máté Hollós: Toccata lirica

IV. category – year of birth 1993 and younger – Juraj Pospíšil: Suita pro cimbál sólo, op. 66 – 2. a 1. movement (they are played in this order – first the 2nd and then the 1st movement)
